Mid range raster scanner

The CLV62 series of barcode scanners are compact, powerful tools for a wide range of logistics applications.

They combine high reading performance with the SMART620 code reconstruction system, a reading algorithm that can accurately detect barcodes even if they are damaged or partially covered. Other advanced features, like an embedded web server for remote diagnostics and reading performance statistics give the CLV62 family the kind of high end performance and flexibility usually expected in more costly scanners.

The raster scanner produces a 15mm raster consisting of 8 lines of red light then analyses reflections from the barcode. Normally used to detect barcodes presented in a picket fence format, due to the distribution of the scanner beams, the barcode is read in several different places. As a result the code is reliably detected.
