Level Up Your Automation Skills with Expert-Led Mitsubishi Training

When production stops because nobody can troubleshoot the PLC, or projects overrun because your team is learning on the job, the cost becomes painfully clear. LC Automation's specialist training courses transform this picture entirely. Our technical support engineers (who work with Mitsubishi kit every single day) deliver hands-on training that translates directly into workplace capability. You'll learn the approaches that actually work in practice, not just theory from a textbook.

Check Out Our Latest Training Dates

Whether you're programming your first PLC or mastering advanced system features, our small group sessions give you time to ask questions, work through real scenarios, and build skills you'll use immediately. Every delegate who attended our courses last year said they'd recommend us to their colleagues. That's not coincidence, it's the result of practical, relevant training delivered by people who genuinely know these systems inside out.

Training at LC Automation - Mitsubishi Electric Courses

Mitsubishi FX-Series PLC Introduction

This two-day introductory course covers the fundamentals of the Mitsubishi FX-series PLC family, teaching delegates how to navigate GX Works2 software in simple mode, create basic ladder diagrams, and develop simple application programs. No previous Mitsubishi experience is required, though basic electrical knowledge is helpful. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to create, test, and transfer programs with confidence.

Mitsubishi FX-Series PLC Advanced

Building on foundational PLC knowledge, this two-day advanced course explores the sophisticated capabilities of the FX-series, including advanced programming techniques, analogue control, data registers, and floating point mathematics. Delegates work through practical exercises using the applied instruction set to solve real-world control problems, learning to interface with analogue units and implement complex mathematical functions.

Mitsubishi IQ-F Introduction

Designed for engineers new to the IQ-F platform, this two-day course teaches hardware selection, module placement, and program creation using GX Works2 in simple mode. The training covers essential topics including basic program elements, timer sequences, configuration parameters, and common programming pitfalls. Delegates learn to build complete, reliable programs for simple industrial applications.

Mitsubishi IQ-F Intermediate

This intermediate-level course helps engineers accelerate their IQ-F programming workflow by mastering GX Works2's productivity tools, including configuration shortcuts, offline program changes, and debugging techniques. Attendees learn to design structured sequences, work with special coils and registers, and efficiently modify programs for design changes or error corrections.

Mitsubishi IQ-F Advanced

The advanced IQ-F course enables engineers to fully leverage the platform's sophisticated features, including intelligent module configuration, built-in analogue channels, high-speed inputs, and advanced data manipulation. Delegates explore structured data types, arrays, indexing, memory management, and program execution types to create optimized, professional-grade PLC programs.

Mitsubishi Q-Series PLC Introduction

This foundational two-day course introduces the Mitsubishi Q-Series PLC hardware and GX Works2 programming software in simple mode. Covering ladder diagram creation, program testing, simulation, and transfer procedures, the course equips delegates with the skills to create and understand basic PLC programs for industrial control applications.

Mitsubishi Q-Series PLC Advanced

Focusing on the Q-Series applied instruction set, this advanced course teaches delegates to implement sophisticated control strategies using mathematical functions, analogue interfacing, and advanced programming techniques. Topics include multi-operation programming, shift and index registers, subroutines, floating point mathematics, and practical analogue-to-digital conversion applications.

Mitsubishi IQ-R Introduction

This comprehensive introduction to the IQ-R PLC family trains engineers in hardware selection, module addressing, and program development using GX Works2 in simple mode.
