Flexible yet Easy
The 3500 controllers have an emphasis on flexibility, yet they still maintain their ease of use. A simple ‘Quick Start’ process is used to configure all the basic functions essential to controlling your process. This includes input sensor type, measurement range, control options and alarms making ‘Out the Box’ operation truly achievable. More advanced features are configured using a PC based graphical configuration tool enabling users to pick function blocks from a library then connect them together using soft wiring.
System Integration
By devolving loop control to a 3000 Series controller, a PLC is able to concentrate on providing fast and effective logic control without the burden of running complex control algorithms. The 3000 Series controllers, including the 3500, also offer better control performance than a PLC, the comfort of single loop integrity and ease of replacement without stopping the process.
A wide range of communication options are compatible too, by simply plugging in the appropriate module.
