A Better Screen, a Better Experience
The most noticeable difference with the GOT3000 is the display. It really stands out with a vibrant TFT colour LCD including 16 million colours and up to Full HD resolution, paired with a projected capacitive touch panel (on widescreen models) giving the kind of smooth, responsive feel users would expect from the touchscreen on a high-quality smartphone. A multi-core CPU handles parallel processing, which means faster startup times and noticeably smoother screen operation even during high-load tasks like logging, scripting and alarm management.
User memory has been significantly expanded too: ROM capacity is up to 4.5 times that of the GOT2000, giving you plenty of storage room for complex projects.

More Ways to Connect
The GOT3000 is designed with modern industrial networks in mind. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports come as standard, with CC-Link IE TSN (Class A) support on the primary port. There's a new USB Type-C port for fast project data transfer (approximately 7.5 times faster than the previous generation) alongside a USB Type-A host port and an HDMI output to connect a large screen TV without an option unit. That makes it easier to set up Andon displays or information boards on the shop floor.
When it comes to networking, built-in OPC UA server and client functions allow secure, high-connectivity data exchange between production systems and upper-level IT infrastructure. A built-in VPN function (licence required) removes the need for a dedicated VPN device, making secure remote access more cost-effective to implement.

Designed for Easier Maintenance
The GOT3000 includes a contactless tag interface where Engineers can tap a compatible mobile device to retrieve pre-set information without opening the control panel. Combined with the GOT Mobile function (licence required), operators and engineers can monitor and interact with equipment through a standard web browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone, with no specialist software needed on the client device.
For on-site fault-finding, the GOT3000 can display live camera feeds from a USB webcam or up to four network cameras, and record up to 120 seconds of footage before and after a fault event. Sequence program monitoring in ladder format, system launcher diagnostics, and backup/restore for connected controllers are all built in, so many maintenance tasks that previously needed a laptop can be handled directly at the panel.
Straightforward to Engineer
GT Works3, Mitsubishi Electric's screen design software, has also been updated with new vector-format parts, improved batch editing tools, and enhanced project management features. If you're looking to upgrade, GOT3000 HMI's share the same panel cut outs as the GOT2000 series, and existing GOT2000 projects can also be converted for use on the new platform. Extension units and cables are largely reusable, which keeps upgrade costs down.
