Lutze have named their E-CO Switches with intelligent energy management their product of the month for November 2022!
One of the many benefits of the new Lutze E-CO switches include the intelligent energy management. This integrated enhancement ensure the creation of energy-saving Ethernet networks. Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) is implemented in compliance with the IEEE 802.3az norm. The result: consistent energy savings compared to conventional switches. Imporved ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection of ± 6 kV DC maximises the interference immunity and allows its use for more applications.

Comparisons
When comparing the two diagrams above, you can see that the standard application switch has the same power consumption no matter the length, where as, the intelligent E-CO switch from Lutze, uses the correct amount of power for the distance i.e. the horter the distance, the less power compared to other products.
The 5, 8 and 16 port Ethernet Switches are ideal for applications with demand requirements such as internal power supply, extended temperature range and energy savings. Fieldbus systems such as ProfiNET, EtherCAT, Ethernet IP and others are supported.
