IAI EleCylinder is Now Even More Flexible with Two- and Three-Position Control
In their latest product update, IAI EleCylinder electric actuators are now available with three-position control. For LC Automation customers, this is a really big deal because it’s a feature that our customers have been requesting since it was launched.
For years, the EleCylinder range has revolutionised automation processes as an energy-efficient alternative to pneumatic cylinders, offering precise two-point positioning with built-in control. Now, IAI has responded to customer demand by extending this capability to three positions across the entire range.

The three-position mode specification means that EleCylinder can now stop not only at the set start and end positions, but also at an intermediate position. This seemingly simple enhancement opens up significant possibilities for process optimisation and cycle time reduction.

You can use software on a laptop, but the wireless TB-03 teaching pendant makes programming even more straightforward, allowing fine adjustments to be made on actuators already installed behind covers or in hard-to-reach locations.

The three-position mode specification is now available as an option across the complete IAI EleCylinder series, including:
- Rod type actuators
- Slider type actuators

Energy Efficiency Maintained
