Applied Automation and LC Automation Unite to Deliver Stronger Automation Distribution Across the UK

We are pleased to announce that LC Automation Ltd and the Technical Distribution Division of Applied Automation have joined forces, combining two of the UK's leading technical automation distributors to create a stronger, more powerful offering for customers across the country.

This merger makes the best of both company’s resources, technical knowledge and product portfolio, giving customers access to a much larger product range, extended field sales support, and greatly enhanced technical expertise.

David Rowe, Managing Director of Applied Automation, commented:

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Peter Stott, who led LC Automation as Managing Director and is stepping down to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. Peter's leadership over the years has been instrumental in making LC Automation the respected business it is today. We wish him all the very best.

We also extend our thanks to Phil Dowell, LC Automation's Financial Director, who will be continuing with the business, and Operations Director, Paul Catherall, who is staying for a handover period. Their expertise and longstanding relationships are proving to be invaluable as we move forward together.

This merger follows Applied Automation's acquisition of Paletti in Bolton last year, reinforcing the Group's continued investment in the North of England and its commitment to extending their local expertise with national reach.
