Check out the NEW Mitsubishi Networks Technical Catalogue!

Mitsubishi have launched a new Technical Catalogue which outlines everything you need to know when specifying a network with Mitsubishi PLC connectivity.

Because they have adopted a unilateral fieldbus strategy for their range of PLC's, Mitsubishi now offers a full suite of communications options for its PLC's, giving users an incredible choice. Clip on modules for both FX and Q PLC ranges are available covering the leading fieldbus protocols, including Ethernet, Profibus, CC-Link and AS-interface.

The wide range of modules available enables the FX micro PLCs to operate as Profibus masters, slaves and bridges, AS-interface masters and slaves, CC-link masters and slaves, DeviceNet and CANopen nodes. The most recent addition, the Ethernet communications module, makes it simple to link PLCs to the wider enterprise systems, for quick and easy data exchange and ready process visualisation.

OEMs looking to export one type of machine into North America might want to standardise with DeviceNet, whilst standardising on Profibus for another machine going into the European market. With the new range of Mitsubishi PLC options, users can mix and match buses without having to bring in unfamiliar or unproven controllers."
